Christmas Party

Our Sunday School Christmas Party was last Friday night. We had a great time. I am so thankful that God has provided us with great friends through this class that we can share our lives with! We had a wonderful time of food and fellowship. Here are a few pictures from the party. Hope everyone is getting ready for the holiday season. Only a few more days left! :)

Crib Disaster!

well... what can I say... I could hardly sleep Thursday night in anticipation for the delivery of Carter's furnature! I rushed around Friday and left a meeting at work early to get home to get ready for the delivery crew to deliver it! They finally arrived about an hour late and I was soooo excited! I showed them where everything was going and they begain bringing the pieces in one by one... The room begain to get smaller and smaller...For some reason the furnature did not look that big in the store! :) All of the pieces were in and it was time for them to build the must anticipated crib. Then, I was sitting in our dining room talking to my Mom on the phone and all of the sudden the delivery guy said, "Ms. White, can I speak to you for a minute". My heart sank... I had a feeling by the tone of his voice that what he was about to tell me was not going to be good. He told me that the back of the crib was cracked. I was devestated. I think he knew the tears were about to start flowing! ( Pregnancy makes us so emotional over the littlest things! :)) So, he then said he could build the crib and once the new back came in he would come and switch it out. I was ok with this, just as long as I could see it all in the room and fixed. As he started to build it, he came and told me there were multiple cracks in the wood and he would not be able to put it together. Well- then the tears really started. I think Mike was very embarressed that I was balling my eyes out over this crib! They promised me he had already spoken with the owners of Baby Furnature Plus and they were having a crib rushed and it should be arriving in 2 weeks. I have my fingers crossed theat it comes in ! :) I was hoping to have the room finished and ready by Christmas , but it looks like the chances of that happening are slim to none! I know in life we are not supposed to sweat the small stuff but it was a big deal for me to have all of this ready and done on Friday. I am pretty much over it now, and looking forward to it coming in soon. It did however give us a chance to move the furnature around ( NUMEROUS TIMES) on Saturday until I believe we finally got it right. I will post some pictures of the final product soon... Update

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to send a quick update on my pregnancy.The week of Thanksgiving I got the news that I have gestational diabetes. THis was not the news I wanted to hear, especially being right here around the holidays! I have been put on a diet and have to check my blood sugars 5 times a day! Let me tell you... that does not get easier with time! :) I have been back to the doctor since and he says my measurements are good and I will continue to see them every 2 weeks. At 38 weeks they will do another ultrasound to make sure Baby Bean is not too big. If so, they will induce me 2 weeks early.

We have also been contemplating a name. We have agreed on Carter! We are now trying to figure out what the rest of his name will be:) Names are tough!


Carter's furnature comes in on Friday. I am so excited! I can't wait for it to get here! I will make sure I post some pictures of the room once it is in and situated.

Baby Bean

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all doing well. We had our 4D Ultrasound done today and wanted to share some of the pictures! Baby White is really active and at first would not cooperate with us to well, but near the end he decided he would pose for the camera. I was so glad to see him again! I went to the doctor yesterday and had a check up and everything seems to be measuring good! I did have to do the glucose tolearace test and my sugar level was high so now I have to go back for the 3 hour glucose test test next friday! Hopefully that one will go good! I have my fingers crossed. I Hope all is well with everyone!

Baseball Bailey

Bailey is playing fall baseball this season instead of soccer. It has been unbelieveable HOT out there!!! I am so ready for it to COOL off! He is doing pretty well. This is his first year of coaches pitch after playing 2 years of teeball. They are MUCH more hard on them in coaches pitch so I am sure in the spring it is going to be ALL OUT! Other than that, not much else going on. I went for my 24 week check up yesterday and the doctor said everything looked great. I am getting bigger by the day and definelty slowing down some! We have picked out the baby's bedding and furnature however we have to actally get his room cleaned out from being a guest bedroom/junk room right now.... :) We still have no name! :) His nick name is "bean" so, i guess if we don't come up with something by January i guess he will be baby bean white! :) JK... HOpe all is well with everyone !

ITS A BOY

We had our 5 month check up today and found out we are having..... A BOY! We are very excited. All of the measurements, heart, spine, etc were great. His heart rate was 150. Baby Boy White is very active and Dr. Salley said, "Wow! you have a wild one!". He was moving all over the place! Once I get our scanner fixed I will scan the ultrasound picture in and post it.

Clemson VS Fla State

We went to the Clemson vs Florida State game last Monday. It was sooo much fun! Despite the heat we had a blast. We tailgated all day and the game was AWESOME! I have attached a few pictures from the game. One is of Madison, my niece the other is of me and my friend Madelyn and the other is of Mike and Matt playing corn hole! What a fun but addicting game! :) I hope all is well and here is to the tigers for a good season..... GOOOOOO TIGERS!!!!

Update

Hi Guys-

I know it has been forever since I last posted. We have been so busy lately. Bailey has started school and playing baseball this year again. I have some pictures however I need to download them from my camera. I am now 20 weeks pregnant and go back to the doctor on Wednesday to hopefully find out if we are having a boy or girl! We are excited to find out! I hope everyone is well and I will post again on Wednesday to let everyone know what we are having! :)

VBS and Bailey's Birthday Party

Been a busy week in the White House! This past week Bailey attended Vacation Bible School at our Church. They had a great turn out with over 550 Kids in attendance. This years theme was Game Day Central. Bailey had a blast learning new songs, bible verses and more about Jesus. Bailey also had a birthday this past Saturday. We had a pool party at our neighborhood pool. We had a great turn out and THANK YOU to everyone that attended. I can't believe Bailey is 7 years old! WOW! Time flies so fast ! Bailey is getting excited about a new sibiling that will be arriving in January:) He is asking alot of questions and I am sure the questions will continue until the baby arrives. I hope everyone is having a great Sunday and HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all of the Fathers !

NEWS!

I know it has been FOREVER since I blogged but i figured this was a good reason to start back! We are expecting a BABY!!! :) I am trying not to get too excited yet since it is still really early but it is hard to keep it a secret. I go to the doctor for my first appointment on Wednesday of next week so I will keep you guys updated on how the appointment goes. If any of you MOM's out there have any pointers, tips, etc please let me know ! I hope everyone is doing well. love ya'll :)

Clemson Game

Gingerbread House

One day after school Bailey and I made a gingerbread house. It was so much fun. Between he and i we were eating more of the icing than we were putting on the house! :) I have attached some photos of Bailey and the Gingerbread house!

UPDATE

Hey guys!
I know I have been slack lately on blogging !!! We have been so busy with work , running Bailey to Soccer now upward basketball, teaching sunday school, christmas programs at church... and the list goes on and on and on.... One of my new years resloutions is to update my blog on a regular basis.. I have a ton of pictures to post so I will split them up... We adopted a family of 6 though our Church and we went to Myrtle Beach about 3 weeks ago and shopped for them in the outlet stores. We were able to meet them this weekend for dinner and a program at church. This is the first year that we have done this and I have to tell you how much fun it was. We take for granted all of the nice things we have and the money that we spend. It was truely a blessing to see the kids get excited about having Christmas Presents. I did not take my camera to the church for the dinner but I have attached a few pictures that we took while we were at the beach.

Babysitting and Baby Shower

Well... it has been a while since i Blogged :) We have been so busy lately by the time I have time to do it I am exausted and want to go to bed. This past weekend I got together with my high school friends and it was such a blast! It has been a while since we were all together and it is so much fun when we get together!!! I wish we could get together more often!! Also this weekend I babysat my niece, Madison while my brother and sister in law were out of town at a wedding. She is such a good baby! I pray when I get ready to have a baby that I can have one as good as her!! I took her shopping with me and then to dinner at Wild Wing. She was so good. I am going to post some pictures of her and some from the Baby shower for Stacey! I hope all is well with everyone and I promise to get better Blogging!! Ihave also included some random pictures of Bailey at soccer , and his first day of school with his friend Zoey.

Bailey's Birthday!

Saturday we had Bailey's Birthday at Frankies Fun Park. WOW!!! what an experience. Needless to say we will NOT be having his party there again. It was mass confusion the entire day. Kids were all over the place and they really do not give you much room to have the party. Anyway, the kids had a good time . They ate Pizza, A Baseball birthday Cake ( thanks mom, it turned out great ), Bailey opened presents then all of the kids rode rides. Today was Fathers Day and we spent the day with Bailey at the pool and then came home and watched a movie. I am very thankful that Bailey has a father like Mike. He is wonderful. Thank you Mike for all that you do for Bailey and our Family. I am truly blessed to have you as a husband and Bailey is blessed to have a Father such as you! Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend!

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! It was a HOT one here in Columbia but it was a good weekend. We spent Saturday working around the house and then Sunday we went to Greenville for Madison's Christening. She looked like such a doll baby! Mom, you did a great job on the dress :) it was Beautiful. She looked so very cute.. After the church service we went to a park in downtown Greenville and had a picnic. The park was really cool, it was on a river and you were able to go out and play in the water. Bailey had a BLAST. After we got home Sunday we went to the neighborhood pool and Bailey went swimming. Monday we did the SAME thing, went to the pool. While at the pool we met alot of people that live in the neighborhood. Everyone seemed very nice. I am attaching several pictures from the weekend. Settling In.....

Hey Guys-
Not much going on here, except still trying to get settled in at our new home. This past weekend we worked on getting more boxes unpacked, Mike helped some friends of ours move, Bailey had a TBALL game then me and my mom went curtian shopping and plant shopping. We worked in the yard until about 9pm then Church on Sunday. Sunday the weather was terrible which in a way was good so that we could get more stuff around the house done. We got some pictures hung and other odd and end stuff we needed to do. I will be so glad when we get everything in its place and can relax during the weekends. I am attaching a few random pictures that I have taken recently. There is a picture of our new house, Bailey playing Tball, Mike and Bailey before church one Sunday, McCrae and Bailey at Easter and Bailey being silly at lunch one day!
